The firm was founded by Rene Cacheaux, Daniel Cavazos and Joseph B. Newton in January, 1994, with offices in San Antonio, McAllen and Mexico City. The founding partners had years of experience representing global clients in complex business transactions and related legal issues in Mexico and the U.S. As commercial ties among NAFTA signatories Canada, Mexico and the U.S. grew, CCN expanded its geographic presence and scope of legal services. Today, CCN advises leading companies in the automotive, electronics, real estate, textile, energy, agricultural, and general manufacturing sectors. Additional growth has come from Mexican and other foreign investors carrying out business and investment activities in Texas and throughout the U.S.
