Iván joined CCN in 2019 motivated by his interest in cross-border transactions and comparative law. He currently advises international clients seeking to conduct trade and investment in the United States and Mexico. He focuses on assisting clients who desire to grow their businesses both in Mexico and the United States, and he understands the numerous legal and cultural challenges clients may face in this international environment. After graduating from Mexico’s Escuela Libre de Derecho and obtaining his Mexico law license, Ivan pursued a Master of Laws degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 2019. He then obtained his license to practice law in Texas in 2021. His principal focus areas are corporate and business law, estate planning, international contract review and negotiation, among others.As part of his professional interests, Ivan is a member of the International Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, as well as the San Antonio Bar Association’s International Section.
