Background

Carrie Osman is a Texas licensed attorney in CCN’s Monterrey, Mexico office, where she serves as of counsel to the firm. Ms. Osman’s practice focuses on advising business clients in the U.S. and Mexico on a variety of legal matters, including international legal planning, entity formation, acquisitions, mergers, trademarks and intellectual property, and the negotiation and preparation of business contracts including professional services agreements, distribution agreements, manufacturing agreements, Texas employment agreements, and similar matters. Ms. Osman also assists international clients with compliance issues, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), on which she has published several articles. Ms. Osman is a frequent speaker on cross-border legal topics, including with the State of Texas Mexico Office. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Monterrey Chapter of the American Chamber of Commerce Mexico (AMCHAM) and participates actively on its legal committee. Ms. Osman has been living and working in Mexico since 1999.
